Woodruff Advances Wastewater Infrastructure with $10 Million Treatment Plant Investment

Construction is underway on Phase 1 of the City of Woodruff's upgraded wastewater treatment plant. Harper General Contractors is building the project.

City Manager Lee Bailey said the city secured a $10 million grant two years earlier to pay for this phase. The work is meant to add treatment capacity, improve environmental compliance and prepare the system for the residential and commercial growth the city expects.
