Woodruff Greenway

A 1.8-mile paved, dog-friendly walking trail from the Woodruff Leisure Center to Woodruff Middle School.

Woodruff Leisure Center

City-owned recreation center run by Spartanburg County Parks, with a disc golf course, gym, walking track, playground and the Greenway trailhead.

Downtown Woodruff

A historic mill-village Main Street with independent shops, restaurants, antique stores and salons.

First Presbyterian Church of Woodruff (historic building)

A 1911 Romanesque and Gothic Revival church, listed on the National Register (2005). It is now a private home, so please view it from the street.

Woodruff Library

Spartanburg County Public Libraries branch with free Wi-Fi, computers, meeting rooms and a weekly storytime.

Old Woodruff High School

A 1925 Collegiate Gothic school, listed on the National Register (2006), that has served as Woodruff's City Hall since 1978.

Historic Price House (Price's Post Office)

A National Register landmark near Woodruff: a c. 1795 brick house that was a store, post office, tavern and inn. Now a museum of the Spartanburg County Historical Association, currently closed for renovations.

Battle of Musgrove Mill State Historic Site

A Revolutionary War battlefield on the Enoree River, about 18 miles from downtown Woodruff. It has a battlefield trail, a visitor center with exhibits, and Horseshoe Falls on Cedar Shoals Creek.

Blackstock Battlefield

The site of the November 20, 1780 Battle of Blackstock, near Enoree. It has a monument hill and a 1.5-mile loop of the Palmetto Trail. It is cared for by Musgrove Mill State Historic Site.

Walnut Grove Plantation

A historic house museum in Roebuck, established around 1767 by the Moore family. Local militia gathered here before the Battle of Cowpens. It offers guided tours, a cemetery, a nature trail and a picnic pavilion.

Croft State Park

More than 7,000 wooded acres just outside Spartanburg, on the grounds of World War II's Camp Croft. It has 165-acre Lake Craig, 20+ miles of biking and equestrian trails, camping and a horse show ring.

Block 224

The city's open-air gathering spot on South Main Street, opened in 2021 where an abandoned building once stood. It has seating, a gas firepit and a small stage for live music, usually Thursdays and weekends from April to October.

Stone Soup at MUSE 134

Home of the Stone Soup Storytelling Institute, the nonprofit behind Woodruff's long-running spring storytelling festival. The Main Street venue hosts performances and has artist-in-residence spaces.

Triple Tree Aerodrome

Nonprofit aviation-education airfield in Woodruff and home of Joe Nall Week, the world's largest radio-control model airplane event.
