City of Woodruff Offers Paid Summer Internships, Meets Students at OneSpartanburg Fair

The city met students at the OneSpartanburg Internship Fair on Feb. 25 and 26 and offers paid summer internships for high school and college students.

The Woodruff Times reported on February 26, 2026 that the City of Woodruff took part in the OneSpartanburg Internship Fair on February 25 and 26, meeting students interested in careers in local government. Here is our summary.

OneSpartanburg keeps a countywide list of internship and work-based learning openings for high school and college students. At the fair, city staff talked with students about what interns do and how local government works.

"We offer paid summer internships for both high school and college students," said Mary-Margaret Bowen, the city's public information officer, adding that anyone interested can find details on the city's website.

City leaders see internships as a way to grow local talent as Woodruff keeps growing.
