Country Meat Center Named Best of South Carolina 2026 in the Grocery Store Category
Woodruff's Country Meat Center won the Grocery Store category in Best of South Carolina 2026, a statewide readers' and editors' awards program from The Guide to South Carolina.
The Woodruff Times reported on July 5, 2026 that Woodruff's Country Meat Center has been named a Best of South Carolina 2026 winner in the Grocery Store category. Here is our summary.
Best of South Carolina is a yearly statewide awards program from The Guide to South Carolina. Readers nominate and vote for their favorite businesses through the year, and the votes are combined with editor's picks.
Leslie Cash of Country Meat Center credited the people around the store: "This award belongs to our employees, local partners, our customers who continue to support us year after year and the amazing community of Woodruff." Cash said the store will keep its focus on quality, customer service and community.
Later in the summer the store also earned three Best of Spartanburg honors (see our August story).
