Airsys Opens Global Headquarters Campus in South Carolina to Meet Surging Global Demand for AI and Data Center Cooling
Cooling-technology maker Airsys officially opened its global headquarters on a 60-acre campus in Woodruff, a $60 million investment the company expects to bring 215 jobs.
Airsys, which builds cooling systems for data centers, AI computing, telecom and other mission-critical equipment, officially opened its global headquarters campus in Woodruff on May 13, 2026. The company says the 60-acre site represents a $60 million investment and is expected to create 215 new jobs. Corporate teams are already working on site, and manufacturing is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
The campus will be the company's hub for engineering and manufacturing its air, liquid and hybrid cooling products, which Airsys describes as zero-water designs. A ribbon-cutting drew local, state and federal officials, with Woodruff Mayor Kenneth E. Gist welcoming the company to the community. Choate Construction was the general contractor, and LS3P was the architect.
The company lists the campus at 101 Cool World Drive, Woodruff.
