Peonies and Plants on Main Opens in Downtown Woodruff
Julie Sorenson Davis's new florist downtown offers arrangements, plants, design classes and a Bloom Bar for showers, with free delivery inside city limits.
The Woodruff Times reported on May 16, 2026 that a new floral and plant shop, Peonies and Plants on Main, has opened downtown. Here is our summary.
Owner Julie Sorenson Davis left the corporate world to start it. The shop is named for her grandmother, Onie, and she grew up around flowers at a family friend's florist in Clinton.
What it offers: floral arrangements, two featured plants each month, floral design classes, and a "Bloom Bar" for baby showers, wedding showers and other events. Orders are taken by phone, on the shop's website or in person. Delivery is free inside Woodruff city limits and $15 outside.
Davis told the paper customer service comes first: "If you call my phone, I'm going to answer."
The shop held its grand opening on Thursday, May 28.
