"Here's to the Dear Old Woodruff High…"
As the new Woodruff High opens, alumni from the Classes of 1990 through 2026 share memories of the campus that is becoming Woodruff Middle School.
The Woodruff High School building that opened in 1989, after fire destroyed its predecessor in 1987, served as the high school for 37 years. With the new high school opening, the building becomes Woodruff Middle School.
The Woodruff Times gathered memories from alumni spanning the Classes of 1990 through 2026: the first seniors to walk into the new building, beloved teachers and coaches, homecoming bonfires and Friday pep rallies, state championship runs, graduating in the rain during COVID, and the last class to graduate there.
