Serve the 'Druff: Church at the Mill Woodruff Held a Day of Service on March 21

Church at the Mill's Woodruff campus spent the morning of March 21 on cleanups, care bags for seniors, lunch for first responders and prayer walks.

The Woodruff Times reported on March 20, 2026 that The Church at the Mill's Woodruff campus would hold "Serve the 'Druff," a day of service across town on Saturday, March 21. Here is our summary.

Volunteers worked from 9 a.m. to noon. Projects included an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup on Highway 221 and a citywide litter sweep, painting, fencing and garden work at the Woodruff Leisure Center, care bags for residents at Brookstone Terrace and Woodruff Manor, drive-thru prayer stations, lunch for first responders, a deep clean at the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen, and help for Woodruff High School as it prepared to move.

Associate pastor Daniel Godfrey led a prayer walk that left messages of encouragement on neighborhood doors. "When the church shows up with open hands and willing hearts, real needs are met and the love of Christ is made visible," he said.

This is our own summary; the full story, by co-editor Vareva Harris, is at The Woodruff Times (link below).
