The city hosted a 9 a.m. to noon community cleanup from City Hall on Saturday, March 21, launching the statewide #SCSweep litter campaign.
The Woodruff Times reported on March 16, 2026 that the City of Woodruff would host a community cleanup on Saturday, March 21, to launch the statewide #SCSweep litter campaign. Here is our summary.
Volunteers met at Woodruff City Hall, 231 East Hayne Street, from 9 a.m. to noon. Residents, families and civic groups were invited to help keep the city clean. The statewide campaign ran March 21 through March 30, and residents could also organize their own cleanups during that time.
The effort was supported by Keep OneSpartanburg Beautiful, Keep South Carolina Beautiful, PalmettoPride and Keep America Beautiful. "Every bag of litter collected and every volunteer who shows up helps make our community stronger," organizers said.
