Woodruff Church of God Serves over 500 Through Christmas Toy Giveaway
The church's annual giveaway on Dec. 20 let more than 500 children and families pick out toys, coats, clothing, socks and shoes.
The Woodruff Times reports that Woodruff Church of God held its annual Christmas Toy Giveaway on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, serving more than 500 children and families.
Children were able to choose their own toys as well as clothing, coats, socks and shoes, so the day offered practical help along with Christmas joy. The outreach reached families at the church campus and in the Kelly Acres community.
Darren and Trena McDaniel led the team that organized it, and church leaders thanked the volunteers, donors and community partners who made it possible. Senior Pastor Jonathan Knight told the paper the season is about loving and giving, pointing to John 3:16.
According to the report, the giveaway is part of the church's ongoing outreach to families in Woodruff and the surrounding area throughout the year. The full story is at The Woodruff Times.
