Peonies and Plants on Main Launches Community Food Drive After Seeing Need Firsthand
A Main Street shop is asking Woodruff businesses to become drop-off points, with a goal of 1,000 pounds of food for the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen by Nov. 23.
After volunteering at the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen, the owner of Peonies and Plants on Main started a business food-drive challenge that runs through Nov. 23.
Participating businesses collect nonperishable food and the shop delivers it to the soup kitchen. The shared goal is 1,000 pounds. Businesses that want to take part can contact the shop at 240 N. Main St.
