According to the paper, most permits were for new homes, especially on Pierett Circle, Old Magnolia Lane, Slades Street and Gracie Drive. Commercial activity included a permit for KDM Signs on Snowmill Road and roofing work at 535 Laurens Road. Dale Sumner Construction began site work on Posey Street, and a commercial plumbing permit was issued for 467 Cross Anchor Road. The month also included roof replacements, mechanical and electrical upgrades, a swimming pool permit and a residential demolition on Woodruff Street.
