Lifelong Woodruff resident Alex Davis was set to open and own the Allstate agency at 360 Sloan Road starting Monday, February 2, 2026.
The Woodruff Times reported on January 30, 2026 that Alex Davis, a lifelong Woodruff resident, would open and own the Allstate Insurance agency at 360 Sloan Road, in front of the new BMW plant, starting Monday, February 2, 2026. Here is our summary.
The paper listed office hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Davis said he wants an agency people trust because they know the people behind it, and he plans to hire locally. "I'm not learning this community from a map or a spreadsheet; I've lived it," he told the paper.
A longtime supporter of Woodruff High School athletics, Davis hopes to rejoin the Woodruff All-Sports Booster Club board. His wife, Cortney Davis, has taught at Woodruff High School for 14 years.
