The Woodruff-Roebuck Water District supplies drinking water across southern Spartanburg County, including Woodruff and Roebuck. The state's drinking-water record lists it as serving about 32,000 people, with water drawn from the North and South Tyger Rivers.
The Woodruff Times reports that the district was founded in 1956 and opened its own treatment plant in 2013. In September 2025 it broke ground on a 120-million-gallon raw-water storage basin, which is expected to be finished in December 2026.
The phone and address come from the state's official water-system record. Office hours are not listed there, so call ahead.
